Next AMA Vintage Championship Races are at Waco, Texas 1/2 mile, Setember 11/12
Calling all Vintage riders and tuners
The AMA will be offering "Hot Rod Singles" and "Hot Rod Twins" support classes
Want to ride the series...
don't have a bike that meets the rules...
these are for you....
support them and they will continue
Motor must be a design that was approved as of 1988
One class for singles and one class for multis
WM6 (3.50" max rear rim
Gotta have a rear brake...no front brake
OEM or Twin shock frame
Manufacturer's crankcases, (aftermarket cylinders or heads OK)
Conventional (right side up) forks
Any shocks
Carburator/s, no fuel injection, NOS, superchargers or turbochargers
Gasoline as fuel
XR750's must be 1988 or earlier (no D port heads, Motoplat or PVL, big oil pump, 1989 style cases)
Dispacement....no limits....does size matter?
Come and compete or watch...find out who has the fastest hotrod vintage single and who has the fastest hotrod vintage twin in the world
Will Pat Orman, Randy Blackwell, Hawbaker, or someone we don't know prevail?
