I was just reading the February-March issue of Vintage Views and I came across Tim Lile's article in which it talks about the inspection of leathers during your first registration. Just what are they looking for when they inspect the leathers. I have an old set of Kobe one piece leathers that have seen a few "get off's" but are in pretty good condition otherwise. Are they looking at shoulder and elbow padding, bad scuffs or holes or what? I don't want to show up with a problem that can't be resolved at the track after traveling a long way and not be able to race. I have seen many guys running with some well worn leathers. Thanks for your help.
